Peeps,

Apologies for the delay in sharing. Life is busy now, but fun! (It's tough being an international legend in my own lunchtime...)

So here's a smattering of stuff from both weekends - there's obviosuly stuff to view on my site...

The first place - AMA Superbikes Barber

Awesome (the Hayden story)!

I didn't realize MJ was a motorcycle guy.

Barber really has some great views. How big was the crowd there? I thought about taking my son but it turned to be a really busy weekend.

Awesome shot of Yates at California Speedway... really killer shot. I'm assuming I'll see you this weekend at Infineon (unless you're jetting off to some foreign land)?

Awesome stuff Andrew!
I love the wide pan of Yates at Fontana.

I understand we will be seeing a little more of you at Mid-Ohio this year... Congrats on the gig!
Looking forward to hopefully meeting you, maybe I can learn a thing or two.;)

-chris

p.s.- After looking at your site, I have to ask: The guy in the shorts at Fontana...... Are you kidding me?!

As usual Andrew you have somev very powerful images. The cone shot is very fitting as this is why I elected to stay in Nor Cal to photograph local racing. You really need to bring one of your books to Infineon next weekend so that we all can check it out. One other question when are you going to step up. Nice work again.

Nice stuff Andrew. I think I like the third shot of the first set the best.

Umm..not sure what happened here but some of the images went missing...

Oh well.

Yes, Michael Jordan (maybe I'll repost the images again) owns Jordan Motorsports...

They had the biggest crowd ever, for any motorsports event. 55K people.

Andrew :)

Okay, I'm reposting them in essence to keep the topic subject relevant (not sure what happened...I'm tired) as Birmingham AL was an old steel town..as was Fontana...anyroad here they are..

And I had a huge "little boy" moment, Nicky Hayden signed my 2006 Review. What a super treat that was. What was even funnier was he signed the cover, then I showed to the page with the full size image of him carrying the Stars and Stripes at Laguna and he signed that to the right of the main image and looked and pondered on that and then said, "this is good, Ive not seen this book before..."

Made my whole weekend.

No, that name doesn't ring a bell. I've known him by sight for a whiles, what with working with LAT and the like.

He'll be at Infineon and Laguna this weekend. Really super nice guy too.

Andrew,

Nice work as always. You have my buddy #61 Scotty Jensen in the first shot. He's really coming on strong in the Superstock Class; eight place at Fontana.

I saw you down at Barber on the grid and meant to say hello but I never got a chance.
