Well... you got those flags right. Man the wind was up and down. I never got around when the flags were blowing.
Problem with the Vette is it looks like a spoof Pizza Delivery with the scoreboard growing out ot the top.
The Lowes car is nice... could be slower at the shutter... and lower in the frame.
Something odd with the Viper... maybe not quite a going away and not quite a side shot... kind of a tweener and honestly, looks awkard.
Good job capturing the track... it's a great place.

I like #3....but something feels cut off with it in terms of the mountains. I can't really explain how it could be better though, and still keep the car less than a dot in it.

Thanks for the comments. Good to have people to bounce stuff off like this! I never thought about the scoreboard. Now I can't look at that picture anymore. Thanks ;)
I was pretty good with shutter speeds down to 1/125. Most of those are sitting with my client waiting for approvals. Plus, they will see publication in their own places, and I can't show that stuff until it has. Here's an example of the slower shutter speeds:

This picture has issues of its own, but it's one where I was just out on track practicing the different shutter speeds and getting used to panning.
That Viper shot was actually a mistake. The damn wind was blowing and it spun the 600 on me while I was tracking him. So the car wound up way up in the frame, and was the only picture in that sequence that I thought was worth anything. But I really like it :D
I actually think I could have done a better job getting around the track. I only shot half that place!

Do you think the sky is throwing it off (there's a little bit of post in there)? Or is it just that the mountain is so dang big?
