I have to say this may be some of his best work yet.

It would appear that the painters are in...................or is it the local baker?

Some fantastic images by Mr. Dole!!!

The original URL didn't work for me. But this one did (http://www.sportscarpros.com/across-the-border-features-from-guests/features/emotions-and-abstractions/emotions-and-abstractions-gallery-01/default.htm).

Spent the day shooting with Mr. Dole... always an enlightening experience. While he's not overly anxious to give any secrets away, I'm always impress with his pace. He continually proves that I spend TOO much time in one location. It's basically shoot a couple laps and move on. I have to say, he's not wrong.

His Le Mans gallery is classic Dole... and SportsCar Pros is ALWAYS a good read and a pleasant stop along the information super highway.

Cheers Mr. Brooks and thanks for the link!

Supurb stuff. My favorite has to be the F430 shot titled "4:30 in the morning" on the second page, a very emotional shot.

AND... I had the HONOR of meeting Mr. Dole, Mr. Thawley, and Mr. Wheeler this weekend at Mid-Ohio... even got to shake hands w/ all of them. Hopefully some of the excessive skill and talent that all 3 possess rubbed off. Hey, a guy can dream can't he?

Again, awesome work. Looking forward to seeing more.

Nice work there Mike...

I LOVE the the shots of the Plastic Pigs - amazing things to drive...

Plus, you should dedicate an entire gallery to the "Kenny"

Good stuff.

What's a plastic pig? :)

I don't have any more of Kenny sadly, although my friends might. It was one of those random things I wanted to do more of as well as racing stuff, but just didn't have the time (I was doing stuff for a website, plus work, so editing took up a lot of time!)

I don't know.......I get a call to come round and do two coats of off-white emulsion, even get the proper gear on, brushes ready, then I get caught up in this stampede of totty and yogis down the pit straight........who do you get in touch with?

First time I have shot the HT girls in years...........and unless another client specifically requests, the last. At least I was paid by Modena to be there, I wonder why the others were snapping away?:p

Gawd... Brooksie on his knees... Lister hanging around the back.. sounds like a tawdry tale that could only be possible among the European contingency. If you hear banjo music... run!!!!!

Banjo Music (Oxymoron surely!) would be the province of Regis or/and Jimmy...........Regis even looked like an extra from the cast of Deliverance (no, NOT that one) by Sunday afternoon after his "accident".............Scooter Lefebure will need his pardon from the Boss soon...............and let's not mention Chapman and all his talk of snakes..............in comparison we were almost normal............. and Lister lurks, he does not hang except perhaps when the BRUICHLADDICH gals are in proximity............we will have to see you, JT, at La Sarthe soon..........hell, they even let Canadians and all sorts in, even those with excess facial topiary.......it is, for sure, a broad church...........................:D

I must have filtered this one out of the brain.. what snakes wuz these then..?

in comparison we were almost normal.............

Ah.. The "almost" modifier has a lot to answer for...
