First race in a while. She was awesome and has some great PR people. All photos are available through US Presswire for editorial use only. More to come....

Yea, no worries. A lot of other "professionals" ruined a shot or two of mine this weekend. Looking forward to another NHRA event though. Like the speed shot idea on a drag car.

Great photos, can you comment on how you lit the first shot? Obviously sun from camera right, but was a reflector used or just getting her next to a white or silver trailer provide enough bounce ?

Great work.

The first shot was done about 2/3 of a stop over exposed. I was trying to use natural light so I wouldn't have to worry about my flash not firing since I didn't have fresh batteries.

I used the same concept I use when shooting daylight baseball, which is to over expose due to the shadow cast from their caps, which usually blows out the whites.

I am very proud that ESPN.com has used quite a bit of my drag racing images through US Presswire and I am looking forward to another race hopefully sometime this year.

Sorry I haven't been posting much, but if you visit US Presswire and enter my last name, you will see why. I am scheduled for Loudon, NH next weekend and Dover, DE the next to cover some NASCAR. Looking forward to sharing some great images with everyone. If your at either race, don't hesitate to say "hi". You can't miss me, just ask any of the regulars for "Big Chris".

Thanks,
CP
