Credential contacts

I have a few events coming up that I may be covering, that I have not covered in the past. I've had a little difficulty in finding out who I need to contact for media cred's. For those of you who have shot IRL and Grand-Am, do you know who the credential request contact is?
I know that not too many people here shoot these guys, but I am trying to find out who it would be for the World of Outlaw guys as well.
I have send emails to the places that seemed to be the most logical (to me anyway), but they have been pretty slow in responding.

Hi Jeff,
I shoot the WoO quite regularly and I contact the track that I'm going to shoot... I would also do that with the other events your planning on shooting..I think the track controls access more so the the association although they still have a say in the process..I know that at places like Knoxville things are starting to tighten up, with the Nationals just 3 weeks away not all the people who have gotten in for past events will be getting in this year..

If you are not covering 65%-75% of a Series' races, you'll most definitely need to get credentials from the individual tracks.

Thanks Dave and John. I'll try that route. With most of the smaller stuff I have done in the past, I had to contact the series and once they gave approval, they in turn gave the track the needed info.

The track will be your first stop. A call to the track will get you the right place quick.
