Looking for some feedback on this image. This was taken car to car at 1/60, @ approx 75mph with the Canon 17-40 f/4L. I apologize for some of the jpeg compression. Thanks!

I like it.

What sticks out to me is the large tree on the left that breaks up the nice horizon of clouds/scattered trees. Doesn't kill the shot, but it's noticeable. It's also affecting the light on the front end of the car. 1 or 2 frames earlier would made this shot....but I still like it.

Neat shot! My only concern is that I think you might have processed the 'red paint' too much. This could just be due to the jpg compression, but make sure that the red doesn't have any distortions or blotches on the final shot. I think red is a hard color to just get "right", but you've done a pretty good job here. All these rollers make me want to get out and shoot some of my own :)

I agree with Keith about the tree. But it's still a great shot!

Car looks pretty good, Wheels a spinnin', trees a blurrin'. I can't tell if it is sharp or not.
Too bad about the splotchy light and reflections, but sometimes you gotta play the cards that you are dealt. Without "clean" light, red often goes weird on ya, it can go so many different ways in the same picture. Sometimes warm sometines cool, sometime magenta-y.

Did you use a polarizer? I can't see any rainbow in the headlight cover...

For me, there's too much JPEG compression. It sure looks like the speed and clarity are there for the car, though.

I wouldn't get too hung up about jpeg compression... unless the ultimate destination for the image is the web. The hi-res final shouldn't have any compression anyway.

In fact, to me, the real world is the print world. I've got one of Jimmy's images sitting here ready to go off to the poster shop... it's currently hanging out on my hard drive at 1.2gb. :)

1.2gb for 1 image?! Crazy! How large of a print are you looking at?
