Below are the images I like from a drifting event / import car show at the local road course. Feel free to critique and help me improve...

no blur on the 2nd shot, too tight on the third shot... :( those are the only 2 action shots

Gallery of the images I found acceptable is here: MSR Drifting Event (http://vracer111.smugmug.com/gallery/3292789#182824532)
Main reason I went to this event was to try out a new lens.
On the the second shot the wheel was actually physically 'stopped' at that instant. Shutter speed was about 1/125 with a 250mm lens (500mm FOV). I wish the wheel didn't lock up then...:( Anthing else besides the locked up wheel that stands out? Maybe move more to the left and get a portion of the corner that was exited off on the right?
On the third shot would the whole car be neccesary in the image or do you think just the addition of the entire front end would make the image? I was thinking that having the tire smoke trailing with the driver facing forwards and track reflected in the side might be enough. Or maybe just stick to a more normal framing like this one (but not quite as fuzzy):

Sometimes I wish I had zoom lenses... but there isn't an OM zoom lense I like. The third image was shot with the same lense as the second. The 180mm probably would have been a better choice.

that shot of the orange car is over sharpened, and not quite in focus. But I do like the framing of the shot with the trailing smoke behind it.
