I just thought I would share a few images from last Saturdays release party for the new Maserati GranTurismo for Ferrari and Maserati of Seattle.
This car is a pre-production car. There is nothing like seeing this car in person, all I can say is WOW.
Let me what you think.

I know a few look a little dark on this page but they aren't on my monitor.

Thanks,
Curtis

thoughts? I bet my mustang could take it :D

that front end, Idonno, I think it looks pretty odd to me. I guess I'd have to see it in person before I make my judgement on the looks of the car. But then again, I'm not really a foreign sports car fan.

I like the photos, very well done :)

It is a car to see in person. I have always been an admirer of Pininfarina designed cars.

But what about the pics...any feedback?

the 2nd photo, and the last photo I like the best, mainly because they don't look like they are at a show or anything! The shot from the rafters is pretty cool as well, I like the angle of being so high up, and seeing the rafters and such.

The rest, look like typical auto show photos to me. Probably plagued by lack of moving room, and people everywhere. They don't look bad I think, they just don't stand out.

Were tripods allowed? If they were, I might be inclined to bring along a polarizer and/or some ND filters, and see how long of an exposure I could get, having whispy hint of motion from the people walking around might be kind of interesting :-)

In fact I did have my tripod and the filters you mentioned. I used the poliarizer and got some nice results but didn't use the ND, and I think I should have. I have a few with people walking around I just didn't post them.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

Now I need to do a little post proccessing and deliver the images to the dealer.

Thanks,
Curtis
