For anyone considering these cards (I bought a 1 gig card when I bought my 30D last week) they are not supported by the Lexar RW019 Rev A Firewire card reader (at least in the Mac environment).

I've called Lexar and they have agreed to exchange my reader for a newer model of the Firewire reader at no charge (and did so with no argument).

Just an FYI for anyone considering these cards.
