Land Rover Defender 2007 on tarmac

Hello,

First photo post ! :)

This was shot a couple of weeks ago in Northampton, England, UK.

This Defender 90 is Allisport show car, full kitted out for on road performance as well as of road (minus the wheels !)

I shot this while we where mesuring the performance increase from a stock Defender for a couple of French magazine.

I like it, but it's not very clear, but i think that kind of adds to the photo and feel of it.

not sure what you mean by "clear"
do you mean sharp ?
Basicaly the whole image but the car is motion blured (real on + the PS one)

the only thing sharp is the Defender as i followed it through while shooting

shot on the side of the road, standing still, the Defender rolling at around 40 MPH

Since i was by myself (plus the Allisport Boss), there was no chances to do a car to car shot nor a rig shoot, since i only got the car for 1 hours and had to measure the upgrade's actual performance in that period of time !

do you have a photo without the PS motion blur? if you panned the car did you need to add it in?

i think it works for an ad because it has the feel to me but it looks almost like the car was not moving and it was all PS

I needed to ad some "speed" as we shot this on an open road on a busy day and we could not have it driving more than 30 MPH on this particular spot where i could pan a bit

this was shot during a Show premier where cars arent even supposed to drive around and i only had the car for a few minutes
