also if anyone wants to do the same for my general portfolio go for it. (i guess i should say what this is for. i plan on going into advertising, more on the planning and research side, and one day moving up. but i want to show that i have a good handle on Composition and color and so on becuase showing these things helped me get my internship at JWT last summer i know they will help me finding a real job)

Both black and white shots... the two Lambos, the two Ferraris, the Benz through the fence, the gorgeous girl. I also feel the Lexus shot is a bit weak too.
As far as the General portfolio, I'm still not keen on the Published section. I think the monochrome vintage shot in the Corkscrew should move to the other portfolio. That's a strong shot.

thanks,
ya i have not been updateing the published section so i think im just going to dump it, it does not really do anything for what i want any more.
by two lambos im guessing you mean the too SSC cars? i have some new girl ones that im going to find one of those and put in.
i have a final tomarrow and then 5 days off, in that time im going to try and update it and then i will post in this thread again to see what you and others think.

The Lexus with the bottom of the nose cut-off
Blurry 300SL by the fence
B&W hood w/clouds shot
Mercedes hood ornament (the bird one is the same idea and better executed)
The babe (it just doesn't fit with the rest of the portfolio)

The black and whites, the girl in black, swan hood ornament and the Lexus, (the Mercedes hood emblem is tipping off the fence as well)
Several of your track images are worthy of moving to the Automotive section. The b/w of the open tops in 3-4 at Laguna. The Toyota open wheel in the corkscrew.
In your regular portfolio, the blond (the b/w is more expressive), the b/w abstract, the lambo's, the ferrari's.( If these are important to you keep them to Automotive,
John

cars parked on grass is usually a no-no. The orange / silver car parked together can go.
I don't like the lexus shot, because the car is cut off. I'd axe that one.
The mercedes hood emblem one isn't very 'interesting' in the grand scheme of things.
The BW shot of the sky and the silhouette of the car also isn't very strong.
The other swan-shaped hood ornament also isn't all that striking.
There's the 5 i'd hit

Hey I'm new here but I have a bit of trained eye. The Girl should go, you have plenty of nice car photos. The Lexus is really nice. So is the detailed Porsche badge. The guy in the white care at sunrise is great. You should take him out of the car though. Good Luck.
