Some drag racing shots from 2007 - Wheels up!

Hi,

I've attended a few events to cover them for a magazine. Thought, I should share the wheelie shots :-)

1: "The Super Shit Box". Former SoCal car, now resides in Switzerland. First time in the 10's this year.

2: Martin Taylor from the UK with his Fiat 500 (powered w/aircooled Volkswagen engine)

3: Thomas Kemp with his CSP Beetle. The other car was a Formula 3000 chassis with a Formula 1 engine. They did three runs. Beetle was going low tens, Formula car was in the high 9's, won all three runs. Impressive.

the gradient on the first and last is a little strong in my eyes. image #2 takes the cake, great capture! Funny to see those cars pulling the front wheels, it's usually the muscle cars doing that :)
