I was reading my manual (don't faint) specifically the C.Fn 's. I came across a C.Fn setting that sounds useful but I am not sure and wanted to ask your opinion.
C.Fn. 1-6 - Safety shift. So that you don't have to look it up in the manual (or if it is different for your camera/brand):
This works in the shutter-priority AE(Tv) and aperture-priority AE- (Av) modes. If the subject's brightness changes suddenly and the current shutter speed or aperture becomes unsuitable, the shutter speed or aperture is shifted automatically to obtain a suitable exposure
should this be enabled or disabled for motorsports?
I would think for static shooting it would not matter as I would be paying attention to my viewfinder and can make the adjustments myself.
Thanks
