Hello From Australia

Hi my name is Chris and I am a professional auto detailer over here in Australia, for those of you that know a bit about Australia Im located on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

I am a big fan of photography yet am only a newbie in almost every aspect. I have no real dramas in preping the cars, and I love taking pics of my work. I can make them look awesome in the flesh but just average on a camera. So hopefully Ill learn the other side of making cars look great here.

To see some of my pics they are on my website (but dont be to harsh as almost all of them were taken with my cam phone, or a point n shoot fuji. Actually some were with my old Canon S1 is either way I know I have a lot to learn)

I now have a Nikon D40 with the standard kit 18-55 lens at the moment but the more I read and the more I get into this photography thing again the more I want to add to the list of lens.

Your right about the wealth of information. You guys should be congratulated for putting together this community.

Every time I get my camera out now im trying out new things. The photoshop side has me stumped though. Maybe its my really old version. 6

By the way Chris nice work on the Datto. My old work ute was a bright flouro green Datto 1200 Ute all rebuilt and then written off by a lady going thru a stop sign at 80k :( oh well. It does leave me to have a soft spot for those kind of cars though.
