I came away from this year's event with mixed emotions. Not to sound spoiled, but track access made it very difficult to be productive. The track decided no golf carts would be allowed trackside and with only a couple of gates at either end of the track, you were left to hike or climb some pretty rickety fencing. Neither situation is good. They did provide a photo shuttle... three vans... which were insufficient, to say the least. I waited through four vans at one point.. all were full. With other work on my plate, besides shooting, it was not ideal.

But, as the old saying goes, even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then. So, here are a few I liked.

I love #4 - awesome sunset, great panning, and unique subject. I really like #3... just enough is sharp to lock my eye and the two cars really give the shot action. Well done as always!

Seems to me that you found more than a few nuts. Shots look great! I especially like the Aston Martin, but I've alway been a fan.

#4 is my favorite as well.

I've also heard "Adversity is the best inspiration" but that can only go so far. Having to hike it everywhere and scamper over fences definitely sucks. Looks like you still came out on top with some great shots though.

Looks like I'll be shooting at the LBGP with credentials, so I'll see you there. Be nice to finally meet everybody.

Nice Work JT.

No Surprise: I like #4 as well. I'm also a fan of #'s 1 and 2.

Nice job despite the adversity.

Great use of sunrise/sunset-lighting in 3, 4, and 8. Of course with the subject in 4 and the clean background, you could almost say "what year" and be either 2008 or somewhere around 1968...

top notch stuff as ever........I missed out on going to Florida this year..........had to content myself with a day trip to Monza for the FIA GT Media day........... http://www.sportscarpros.com/notes-from-the-cellar-features-by-john-brooks/features/day-tripper/day-tripper-gallery-1/default.htm

However SCP had the Sheriff shooting at Hendricks Field............I am glad I was not trying to match his efforts which even by his standards were a bit good..........see for yourselves

Great shots!

I was in Mexico City at the weekend for A1GP, shame I couldn't drop into Sebring at some point...

I like #5...I'm a sucker for shots at the start. probably because I suck at them.

#4 is cool as well. The reflection off of the snow plow....er...splitter is cool

JT - Very nice! I was at the track on Friday and Saturday. Hiking that track is a chore. I was there with Tafel and Bell Micro. I will post some here tomorrow from my office. Its tough to shoot that track without credentials. Dealing with the safety barriers and the added distance limits your options but at least we could use our golf cart.
