Just felt like sharing my first feature in a magazine on here.

It hit stands in the August issue of Eurotuner.

The funny part was, I was actually mentioned in the article itself :)

congrats! I do however, see mostly front 3/4 shots of the car though, perhaps that was the editors choice.

Must feel great to get some shots in a magazine, let alone a whole article :)

yeah looks like all front and 1 rear
kind of surprising but its not like you pick the pictures

The featured car is owned by a high school buddy of mine, he wrote in and sent some photos and wrote about how I could shoot it, and they put the letter at the beginning and then they said.

paraphrased
"to be honest, a 17 year old on his 3rd A4 caught our attention, and having a high school freind capable of taking great photos was an added bonus. So we got to talking to jess and commissioned Jackson to do the shoot"


I shot these photo's in March and I think I have developed as a photographer since then, so it's a little frustrating seeing my past work go on showcase when I now have a better shooting style IMO.

congrats!!

the fact that you know you've improved as a photographer, and this was your first published work, is very good. I think this is a decent shoot and layout, and I think other editors would be impressed by it.

I'd suggest scanning them and making them into PDF's for your online portfolio.

congrats! man that's where i want to be in the next few months.
you know what's cool, i have a photo in that issue also.
look in the back on page 103, see if you can find which photo is mine.
