This was my first year over the fence, and even though I had been to the track many times before, and have had track access at other venues, I was still somewhat daunted by the enormity of the task. I think I let myself get behind the power curve because of some outside influences, and thus missed many shot opportunites (as seen here and in other photo forums). Lessons learned, and others (many others) still yet to learn.
These are decidedly Porsche centric for a reason ;) .

The Lammers picture just does not look "real" to me.. something seems to have gone wrong in post processing..
Otherwise..
The start shot is nice enough..
No2 is too cluttered with the subject mixing with the background..
No4, unfortunately, half the rear end seems to be missing..
The last is quite nice..

Many thanks on the critique.
Lammers photo is from jpeg. PP consisted of levels, contrast +15, Saturation +12, and unsharp mask at 200/1.0/0, then resized in DPP. Picture is heavily cropped, I just thought his squinting into the sun was "unique".
Here is the picture with only a mild crop:

Chris, judging from these and your Rennlist posts, I think we were in some similar areas at similar times, including Tower Turn and 3/4/5.
The start shot is nice as long as it's critically sharp. Generally, I'd prefer to see the cars in the lower 1/3 of the frame, but that's just me.
My comment about #2 are similar to David's. You're just a bit early from a nicer shot with the pits in the (more distant) background. p.s. I suspect I'm in the background of some of your shots from this location. :-)
#3 works better with the looser crop, because it provides the context of being on-track. Otherwise, it could just as well be pit lane.
#4 is a good capture, but you've gone a bit overboard with contrast in post-processing (a mistake I make often as well). The other thing I wish for in #4 is that the car had a bit more space to "move" within the frame. Did you crop down to get the version you posted?
#5 is nice.
#6 is the best of the bunch. Nice attitude on the car...on curbing...just prior to head-on. I wouldn't change anything about this shot.

Bob:
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment, your words do mean a great deal to me.
The start shot was taken through the fence, it looks better as a RAW conversion. Your suggestion on framing is duly noted.
#2: Noted. Perhaps some selective blurring of the BG could save the shot.
#3: Tight crop, I just thought his eyes were interesting, with only one open going through turn 5.
#4: Contrst remarks noted. The crop was an 8 x 10 which doesn't really work on this, but it was cropped this way for the end user. I'll do this as a 12 x 18 and it should be much better in actual print.
#5: Funny thing was the RSR was turning better lap times without the rear fascia. So much for wind tunnel work over the winter...
#6: Thank you.
