Figured I would share a few static photos a Saturn Sky from earlier in the summer.

This first photo of the Sky was a new location for me, which turns out to be in on an access road leading into my kids elementary school, about 1/4 mile from my house. I've lived here for over 4 years and just recently discovered this one little section where the road crowns and there are no houses, trees, etc. in the background. Just off frame is a garbage dumpster... I did remove a few weeds from behind the car, and enhanced the sky (both versions). I only got this angle at this location, I planned on going back, but every time I did the lot was full of cars for a baseball practice.

A few others of the Sky, I think my details turned out better than the full-car shots:

1st shot is my favorite! (asie from that antenna!!)

a guy at work has a dark silver sky, it's a pretty cool little car :) Can't wait to see a vette engine stuffed into one of them like I have seen done to the solstice :D

Yeah, I should edit that stupid antenna out (along with the light pole reflection in the front bumper). If you notice, the Sky also has a sat antenna on the trunk.... they couldn't figure out how to combine the two antenna's into one?

I agree on the first shot... really nice composition.

I like the logo shot too... I like the play on words and the colors and angle.

I like number 4, but there's someithing about the right side of the image that falls flat. The reflection in the cars is colorful... but the sky at the front is not. And, the wheel and tire have no punch. I really like the composition though. Maybe you can do more post work on that.

Nice job..

Nice stuff... but I can't believe they left the Sky with only 1 of those exhaust pipes out back!!!!

#1 looks straight out of the press kit. Excellent.

Logo shot's a winner as well.

The first, second, and last images are among the best. I agree with the antenna. It looks very out of place. Why didn't they put an S2000-like antenna, I wonder?

lots of things I wonder, like why didn't they throw in 4 more cylendars or at least a turbo? eh, you can't have it all. LOL I usually unscrew the antenna when I shoot a car (or just paint it out if I don't have a lot of prep time). On cars I have owned I at least un-screw the antenna the day I get the car, and I have even taken the antenna out completely and had the hole welded up. I like that best, antennas are ugly.

The Sky Red Line will have a turbocharged inline-4.

260HP too...not bad
0-60 5 1/2 seconds...not too shabby either

I ablsolutely love the first one, perfect angle, beautiful sky, and beautiful car.

I finally got to see one in person just yesterday, Saturn did a pretty good job, I would totaly take one over a Solstice.(the Red line of course)

Nice Job

The first shot is incredible. The clouds frame it nicely and I really like that angle of the location. The second one has a wierd transition on the right side where the clouds crept into the reflection. I think the 3rd one might've looked better if you had stopped it down a bit more to get the entire back end in focus but leaving the background out of focus. The lower half of the back end of this car is where Saturn dropped the ball - design-wise. I think a higher angle on the rear 3/4 angle would make the car look a bit better in the last shot.

I drove the base model of this and the Solstice a few months ago and couldn't believe how worthless that base engine is. I drove the GXP version of the Solstice (same turbo as in the Redline Sky) 2 weeks ago and basically was blown away. Peak torque is really low so you can chirp it going into 3rd gear. Anyone that bought the base model Sky/Solstice will want their money back once they drive one with a turbo.
