SCCA PCA Racing in Portland

Just thought I would share some images from this past weekends SCCA action from Portland. Mostly Porsches but a Z06 got in the action as well…but was schooled in the end by Jim Walsh in the GT3 cup car.
Now that the track has been ever so slightly reconfigured and repaved a number of drivers had a hard time dealing with the new Turn 7 re-configuration.
The weather was something to be desired 36 in the morning, rain, hail and 50 by the time final race on Sunday and as the checker was dropped it hailed again for about five minutes.

5, 6, 7 are my favs of the bunch. 2 is neat, but 3 is just too lost along with 4 - for me anyays...

Thanks Tim and Dustin for the feedback.

Tim - I like the last one but the only thing is that dang van behind, but I really like how the front of the Porsche is sharp.

Dustin - I noticed these two (images 5 and 6) cars pulling the front left wheel off the ground coming out of the festival curve and I tried my to capture that. I thought the scene with 3 was cool because the nasty weather in the west mountains along with the birds and 4 was the best images of the Porsche just about to put a lap on the Corvette.
