I was actually competeing in this event in my own car.. but i thought i would take out the camera anyway and see what i could capture.. i ended up taking 160 odd photos lol.

ill keep it down to only a few images :P...but these where taken using canon 350d with 55-250is lense..

Never seen these kind of cars before. I love 'em! Engine, 4 wheels and a driver! What else do ya need!

yeah there called motorkhana sepcials... there amazing little machine and stuipedly quick for what they do... a motorkhana is like the australian version of autocross which is held in the US..

hahah, seat belts are not in the rules... u have to remember these guys would be lucky to reach speeds of more then 30-40mph...i dont think anyones been seriously injured in these cars....

Strange to see little specials like this that are clearly FWD, but i suppose some weight in front with those sticky tires, and it must be good fun getting the nose into the apex! What engines are they running? Were you in these crazy little things, or a regular car?

Cool shots, I like 4 and 7!

most ppl used the fwd for the space saving and less weight from no tailshaft... there actually is a rwd special that uses a mid mounted renault engine...

most of the engines are 1300cc mini or renault or simliar engines...using automatic gearboxs...

i was in a regualer car... a Toyota AE86
