This was a shoot that I did for a mag a few months back, it should be out next month. The car is in the posession of one of the sponsors, who normally trailors the car to shows. Apparently the alternator went out the week before I shot it, so the car was non-driveable. The original plan was to shoot it outside of the warehouse, but it started raining literally 20 minutes into my shoot . Luckily, I had my strobe lights with me, so we just set them up inside and shot away. I was pretty much over the shoot at that point, so it's a little sloppier than I would have liked. By no means am I trying to make excuses, I'm just expecting to get torn apart here ;)

2 strobes (one to the left, one lighting the front), shot from a ladder, I believe with my 24-70 (may have been the 17-35, don't remember). Post work was mostly just levels, a small saturation bump, cloning out of a few hot spots from the strobes, and some burning to eliminate distractions

I like this style of indoor shoot. I do think though that the angle is too high for a car like this. It almost makes the car feel like a minature. Another thing that's buggingh me is the front right tire; seems a little too turned for the angle the car was shot at. I'd love to see more from the set.

What is that coming out of the side? Faux flames?

they were real flames... it was to imitate a slide.
