I am a student at University of connecticut and took some photos at the annual car show this weekend, just wanted to see what you guys thought.

I might have tried some fill flash on #1, to highlight the emblem.

There are few places as hard to get a good photo as at a car show. You'd get much better practice taking your own car out, it doesn't matter what it is.

#1 without the people in the background would be OK.

Is BMW and Lotus factory paint really that bad? I'd have refused delivery.

Charles, you're not so far from me, if you're serious about this PM me, I shoot in your neck of the woods all the time.

Same thought on the M3 emblem...so much orange peel! Car shows are really hard to get good images because of location, lighting, and especially all the people.

Shoot your own car or friends cars and you'll be much happier with the results since you'll have way more control.
