I like 4, I would like it more if the car was just a little further over and did not have the treee sticking out of it - but more the tree "framing it"

I like 5, I would like it more if it were cropped just a little tighter to remove the distracting background elements top left. You have a nice color there with the orange and green.

Most images look a little washed out - but I am NOT on a calibrated monitor where I am right now.

wow these are good. I agree with Dustin, they do seem to be a bit washed, colors really don't pop.

#1 good capture but wish the Porsche was next to the Ford, but that can be hard to capture.

#2 for some reason all i thin k is, it's ok.

#3 i think this one if my fav. love the shots before races cause they create excitement. you feel like you're in the driver sit, ready to hit the gas.

#4, 5 agree with Dustin on these too.

#6 this is a good one, you can see where is heading.

#7 great motion on this one, but like Dustin said a tad washed out.

#8 good one also but again washed out.

keep it up!

Nice job Ken.

Some nice pans. i like #1, 4, and 5.
I wouldn't mind seeing the shot at Oak Tree a little wider though.

I have to confess that I am not sure what you guys mean when you say the colors are washed out, cause they look good to me on the monitor. or is the exposure wrong?

What P/P have you done? I would play around w/ the contrast and saturation just a tad. Get the colors to "pop" just a little more. Be careful not to over do it. In photoshop, I generally bump up saturation by 10-15% and adj from there. Not saying you didn't do this it just looks like you could push it a little more. My favorite is probably the last of the bunch.

Cheers, Steve

Ken:

I wasn't able to grab exact locations for you... but these are from this same event in 2006. The Ruby Tuesday car is still in the same livery, so that may give you a reference to color. And I threw up a few more... hope they help.
