What's the motion that you perform with your body/arms in #4? Is it just the combination of short focal length and close proximity to high speed that gives the effect?

Dennis.. I'd like to say something really fancy to answer that, but it's just the combo you suggest.. a 12 to 24mm lens... at 12mm... so you can see how close I was (just a few metres) and that gives the "rotation" effect in the trees etc as they are so much farther away..

hope that helps..

I was actually thinking, I got to use just about every lens in my bag that weekend.. as illustrated in the 8 selected above.. everything from 10.5mm fisheye to 500mm.. All in a combined 140 mins or so of track action.. No often I get to say that..

From the top.

Interesting circuit. Great use of the locations. Terrible weather and you still managed all those lens changes.

So who is covering WTCC at Brno if you are at Le Mans?
