Went to the US introduction of the new Murcielego LP640 today. got a ride with one of the test drivers and then was set loose to drive it

We were on the infield at California speedway and I saw an indicated 240kph (149mph) on the straight :D

here is some pics, didn't have control over the situation, these shots were just an opportunity that presented itself. We're hoping to do a full on road test/photo shoot soon

the blue looks really good!!

the shots are meh... but I know what it's like when they put the cars in a crappy spot and you just have to deal with it.

the cars..... mmmmmmmmm..........

I really like the background in the second shot... sounds like a rough day!

It was awful, but someone had to do it

You may have had proper hand position and intense concentration, but where's the #@%^&! smile!!!! :D

I like #1 and #2 .... 2 more than 1. 1 might have been better if it were truly "square" rather than having everything tilted. The last one is pretty neat too.

Well, I was braking hard from about 130mph at that point, no time for a smile ;)

Thanks.
What happened was, I was hanging out with the writer on Saturday and he was like, hey wanna go to this Lambo test drive, and I was like  then he said, bring your camera to make it look like your taking pictures for the story (we're not doing a story until we get the car to test). So I was just fooling around, the cars were just parked there and I just fired off some snaps, gave it ye ole tilt to make it a little less boring

Looks like a lot of fun, Morgan!! You know I'm jealous :P

I really like the #3 and the very last one with the line of Lamborghini's

Very Jealous! Great shots none-the-less, and more importantly, a fantastic experience from what it looks like!

Thanks! My therapist says this could take months to get over. My wife has been complaining I smell of leather and have been making engine noises in my sleep.

To make matters worse, I just had to endure two days driving a new Jeep across the Rubicon trail, woe is me!

Well if the time comes that you can't handle your job anymore, I'll do my best to take over for you... :D
