I've not posted much of my work on APN, so I thought I would share these. They are not my normal post work, but I some down time while in Japan had fun playing with them. I'd like to here what you think.

#2 has it for me since it leaves a bit of mystery.

#1 seems overdone with regards to saturation and the last is a bit tight for my tastes.

Getting back to #2, I'm assuming you burned the left side?

Thanks for the comments Erik. #1 is way saturated and not very realistic looking, but I like from an artistic stand point.

There is a lot of post work on the 2nd shot. Here it is pretty much straight out of the camera...

Seeing the original image for #2 makes me think that your post may actually be on the right track.... I'd just dial it back a bit. As far as the burn on the left, I'd make it wider and a bit less obvious... the direction, though, has a nice look about it.

Thanks JT. I actually have another version of this that I use as my laptop background and I like better. I'll have to resize it and post it here as well. The original shot was taken in the middle of the day since I was covering the roadcourse event from LOG27 for Modified Luxury & Exotics.

I agree with JT, that's why I asked about the burning. Bring it back a bit and you've got a 100% winner. Very nice.

Here is another edit on that some photo. I took this one off my site's main page rotation, so it's a bit smaller....

They all seem a bit like over cooked HDR images but I really like the framing on #1. I'd dial down the effects a bit to make it a little more realistic.

The one in #3 looks like an awesome car to drive!

Thanks for the comments David. None of these multiple images.

What kind of postprocessing did you do on #1? I have a friend with an Exige in the same color. Kudo's for #1. I like the shot.

Steve, it was done in LR. I think it was a mix of full fill light, full recovery, blacks adjusted back to some thing normal looking. I'm sure I played with sat and contrast as well. It's pretty much just tweaking those until you like it.
