That's all I have to share for now until I go through the rest of my photos and upload them to Flickr. :)

First one for me is just too much wheel... and a pretty nasty reflection above the wheel well. Nice coloring though.
#2 is nice shot with an awful background. What's all the junk at the back?
#3 is a nice composition... but appears a bit underexposed and soft.
#4 Something not right here.... that said, the parking lot stripes are really obnoxious.
#5 What's with the cigarette? Odd shadow on the wall.
#6 More odd shadows and the elevator sign. The girl could use better lighting too.
#7 I like the black and white.. though I think this is more a girl shot than a car shot.
Overall, you seem to compose pretty well.... but you're getting your ass kicked by the details.

are we critiquing these photos? or is this section more or less like a gallery? Not quite clear on this section yet :)
If we are critiquing, I'd say the first shot needs to have the wheel rotated so that the logo is facing up, you could say that for the 2nd shot as well, but especially for the 1st shot as it's such a close up.
the last 3 shots don't really seem to work as good as the others, they seem a little bit more random I guess.
I like the blue paint in the 2nd shot, it looks very deap! I also like the 4th shot, It would make a nice poster :) The blur looks a little odd however, I'm not quite sure why. I assume it wasn't done in camera?

Whoops.. Daniel, that may be my fault. I launched the thread from the New Posts link... wasn't aware it wasn't in the Critique section. Although.. the Shooter's boards are for discussion of images regardless. :)

what exatly should be discussed when pictures are posted? Not being a jerk, just wondering whats to discuss if it's not a critique. Do we discuss how the image was shot, or what gear was used? Or is it more of a gallery that doesn't need much discussing?

No, I think the Shooter's boards are wide open discussion. And it appears that's been the working practice to date... so, carry on.
I think the Critique board is where someone would go with either their Monthly Assignment shots to get feedback before entering. Or, use it for an image or two that they are doing serous work with and know they can expect detailed critique and suggestions.
The Shooter's boards are general discussion of images, niche speicif discussions, and open dialogue. I'd say if you don't want to hear about your images, good or bad, it's best to leave them on your hard drive. :) Based on the name of the Forum and the goals of most involved, you're going to get an opinion... whether you like it or not. :)

I didn't even think about the BMW logo not being upright. As for the background clutter, I guess my thoughts of it adding to the image were way wrong. :D
#4 was a PS job, the car wasn't moving, nor was I. That may be why the lines look weird.
The last three were very random, we just pulled into a parking garage and shot for the heck of it.
I appreciate the input about paying more attention to detail, I seem to be a little rusty.
I think it's good to discuss whenever and wherever images are posted on here. It's not going to do us any good to just praise every single photo. I always found the critiques during my photography classes to be so useless because everyone just says, "I really like it a lot."
