I had a cool opportunity today to shoot a Ferrari FX. There is only one in the country, and no one really knows how many have been built overall. I have heard anywhere from 2-8. The location was limited to the parking lot of the museum, so I tried to incorporate the logo on the building into the photo.

Those wheels look identical to 512M ones, and the car almost looks like a Saturn. That is the strangest Ferrari I have ever seen.

It's based off a Ferrari 512M with the same flat-12 engine, but it has a Williams F1 sequential transmission.

Absolutely insane Ferrari, but not your best work Drew. How'd you get the chance to shoot it?

I tagged along with another photographer who had been bugging Marconi for weeks to let him shoot it. He basically brought it out for 10 minutes and I just got to shoot what was there.

No offense to your photos at all Drew, but wow, that thing just screams of a bastardized Saturn SC2 and F-Body combined :)

That is exactly what popped into my thoughts when I was scrolling down and saw the headlights.

Looks like a Saturn...Boyd Coddington wheels....:o that's funny. Maybe that's why they only built two.

The shots don't look bad, I think the building fits in pretty good, considering you had no choice. The background might be a bit to bright for my tastes.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought the FX was a hot rod Enzo. This car looks like somthing that would make Enzo roll over in his grave:( :eek:

Correct on both accounts :) Irrespective of the Drew photo ability, that's one super(ugly)car.
