who's driving the GC8?
also, it looks like you over-sharpened #2 to make up for the slightly blurry shot :(
overall, great pics, which i've come to expect from you ;)
ps - it looks like i'll be making it over to J-land either end of this yaer or next for a round!

No.2 has the same sharpening as the rest, the jpgs out of the 1D are funky that way, sometimes. Maybe I just spent too much time with the 20D, but my results were a touch more consistant out of it.

Nice stuff. I totally dig the last picture of the initial post (white car). All that smoke really gives the detail about what happens.
It's easy to see the "driver education" opportunity here. "Always look where you want the car to go." It's very evident that each of these drivers is doing that, despite where the front wheels are pointing!

Ahaha, that is also why the radiator vents for the STI's are on the side, as they reasoned that the cars get more air from that direction than the front. ;)
The white car is mr. smokey himself, 40+yr old Nomura "Nomuken" Ken, aka "Saru" (monkey), in his Blitz 4-door Skyline GTS-T.
