Pretty simple…
Looking for some suggestions on economical options people have used for business cards. I don’t need anything with 15 colors, gloss finish and special paper. Just a classic business card.
There’s a ton of info out there, just want some simple experiences on cost and what you got for your money. Printing from my own personal computer may or may not be an option, not sure yet.
Thanks!

I used OvernightPrints.com (http://www.overnightprints.com/) for my last set of cards and was very happy with the print quality. 100 double sided, full-color, non-glossy cards were only $15 + S&H. Their templates are also nice if you've never designed a card before, or had to deal with bleeds and stuff. They have a very fast turn-around on their samples (worth getting them just to see what they look like). For the cards you'll want to pay for express shipping if you need the cards in a crunch (I didn't pay, and it took 3-5 days, a weekend was involved, to get them after they shipped... when it only took hours to print).
If you want something simpler on a textured/colored paper you may want to check-out the local office supply stores.

I print my own using Avery clean edge business card paper from the local Staples. I downloaded a template for Word from the Avery website and just filled it in. Now I can print on demand whatever quanity I need and if any info changes then I can update it immediately with minimal waste.

I needed some in a 48 hour period, and used a local "sir speedy". paid $50 for 250 cards. They were 3 color, and not actual "business card" stock but something very similar, but they got them done in 3 hours. I'd use them again

For the 'print it yourself' cards I suggest the Avery Laser cut cards. They are of thick stock with smooth edges (not the flimsy, chit-lined edges of the cheaper cards. You can get 500 for about $20 at Sam's and they come 10 to a sheet. I use them for weddings and leave custom cards ("View XXX & XXX wedding photos here at http://blah blah blah) on the tables for the guests.
