Hi all, I started shooting motorcycle races this year and am looking for some feedback from motorsport shooters. Any and all critiques, comments, advice, etc. are welcome. Thanks in advance!

Daniel,

I really like the composition on #6. It almost looks like a multiple exposure sequence. Maybe a tad more sharpening? Of course, it could be my Mac laptop that looks a little soft.

Very nice work Daniel keep up the good work. My favorites are #s 2,3, and 8. These are very dynamic shots.

#6 is the type of corkscrew shot that I can never seem to get. I really like #2 with the empty but busy background.

Thanks everyone for all the input so far! I am still working on learning post-processing, so it could very well be that I didn't sharpen a few of these pictures properly/enough. No need to blame your laptop :p Straight out of the camera, #6 did contain a few slightly blurry riders because they were just outside the dof. Ironically, that actually wasn't the angle I was initially looking for but decided to shoot off a few since I was standing there already.

Nice set of shots!

Can't decide if #2 or 6 is my favorite, but there's something about 2 that keeps drawing me back, I really like it. #6 should be on the cover of Roadracing World!

#7 looks like it should be a client shot for Repsol.

#8 Where did you get this shot of Rossi?

I just started shooting bikes this year also so I'm learning from yours. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the positive feedback, Tom. The shot of Rossi was taken at Indianapolis.

I like the shots that you've been able to achieve, one question though, how do you get "in" for photographic purposes to shoot motogp events?

Thanks Sevan. I take it you know Todd? Heh.

Julian, I didn't have media access. Just paid for general admission.
