Finally got the lens I was after, the Canon 85mm F1.8, and got to put it to some use with the latest job. Went to Yokohama to shoot the lastest Honda S2000 widebody effort by ASM, which is growing steadily in the Japanese market.
I always love primes. It's just the way they handle the transitions from dark to light. Good zooms are still great, but the blacks are just not as black, the lights are just not as light, and the transitions tend to be more abrupt.
