Here is the corkscrew foto I took at this years USGP. The entire MotoGP field in the shot, along with the TV helicopter. I liked it alot, and so did Cycle World.

Very nicely done! The more I look at these corkscrew fisheye shots I like the ones from farther down the hill (like this one) compared to the ones I took from a little farther up the hill. Congrats!

thanks Guys. I had a couple other shots that I thought were worthy but I guess they didn;t so this one was it. That said, David Edwards did say that this was a truely unique shot so I am pretty happy about that. I did dream up this shot 2 or 3 months previous to the MotoGP so was pretty happy about actually getting it, even though I was totally nervous the 5 mins before the drop of the flag....... THis is the kind of thing that I knew I would only have 1 take on, and, there was no way of knowing if the entire field COULD be captured there....

The more I learn about photography, the more I see that not only does it take a certain understanding of how to technically do what you are trying to do, but it also takes a certain amount of luck.
