this is mostly for portraits but one of my big clients is wanting to do some underwater portraits and id rather buy or rent the housings myself than have them hire another photographer.
anyone know of any places online or info sites, etc?
thanks in advance.

You may be able to find a diving pool with an observation window... not that I've ever seen one, but I hear they exist.
As for housings/underwater cameras... I'd check-out SCUBA shops in your area. One of the local shops around here rents housings (digital and film): Rates (http://www.backscatter.com/shop/rental/photo/)
