I'm waiting on the status of my credential request. No cred's = me drinking more beer this year and taking less photos.

I'll be there! I would love to have credentials but not being a pro, and more importantly not being paid, lends me to believe that I would just be taking a spot from someone trying to make a living. I love this race though. I show up at the crack of dawn to hear the cars start up for the early morning tuning and leave when the dust settles at the end. Its a long day but worth every minute!

We will be there for sure. Have seen it a few million times on TV, but never live. Where are the best places to shoot brake glow?

Darren,
The problem with the hairpin is there is way to much in your way. I find turn 10 to be the best spot if you do not have credentials. The cars come in fast and break hard. You even get some exhaust flames. Thats where you will find me when the sun starts to set.

I think I just saw John pull his remote camera trick again when Bourdais came in for fuel :p
Saw a guy extended his monopod with a wide angle mounted on a camera and raised it way up to get the top down angle :D

I hurt all over. Especially driving home 1000 miles after being on my feet for 4 days. I'll post a few once I get my legs reattached.
One nice thing was I got to drive on the track on Friday during the Mazda track session. Two laps around. We were supposed to keep it to 45-50 MPH, but somehow I got it up to 82 and could have gone faster if a Miata two cars in front of me would have had their top up and cigars not lit. There should be a YouTube video up in a few days from the guys in the car behind me filming my Mazdaspeed 6 wallowing in the turns.
Mark III worked really well. Pretty windy 3 out of the 4 days, especially standing on a two step ladder 4 days.
