Hi all

Anyone been to Daytona as a spectator who knows of good spots to shoot from? I've never been down there before so seeing if anyone has any suggestions. Feel free to post pictures too. Thanks in advance for the help!

Well, to be honest. I don't think it's a very good spectators track. tall fences are mostly what you will find and some turns just completely blocked from spectators. not to say it's not possible to get a great shot but there will only be a few different shots that your going to be able to take.
bring a lightweight step stool, oh yea i'm assuming your talking about the grand-am track not the nascar track.

Thanks Justin. I just spent my first day there and your description was very accurate and I've heard similar opinions before from other people as well. I didn't finish walking around (nor do I know if there's even anywhere left to walk around) and you're right, so far I've found just 1 spot to shoot from. A bit disheartening, but watching the bikes out on the track under the lights is a spectacular sight nevertheless.
