They lost the HP and torque too (very disappointing debut, especially with the long window of anticipation).

Yes, but this one was the one that failed to start on the grid.

They never figured out why it would not fire for the start, it just suddenly turned over about 40 minutes after the race started. It broke anyway, but it was a weird beginning for the New Rondel

Didn't the Peugeot have a problem on the grid too? I recall them wheeling it off the grid when everyone was swarming the cars before the race.

Not sure what was wrong, but they got it fixed and the car started from the pit lane.
