Thinking about sending the slideshow to them as a resume/portfolio. Yay or Nay on that? Be honest.

Nice shots of some cool cars, but you might want to try to get more 'car coming at you' and less 'car going past you' shots.

You have some nice slow pans. I'd like 3 and 7 with a little more room on both sides.

Looks like you shot a lot at 70 mm so you probably had some ability to move around the track. Seeing some head-on's or 3/4 shots to mix it up a little. I bet you have a few more you could post.

Thanks for the nice comments, Guys. I agree I need more of a mix and need to move around a little more. Spectator/shooter access is very limited here though. See track map at
http://www.drivefastbesafe.com/PDFs/Facility.pdf blue areas are for spectators/shooters, access to s6 closed, private area. #1,2,5,6 shot from outside of S1 and S2 about 100 or more feet from the track. #4, #3 from Grass paddock, about 30ft. from track, going into S1, #7 @ S15 from yellow area, all mostly at 135mm. Really needed more reach than my 28-135 could offer. Lusting for a 70-200 2.8L. For more of the set go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/1656753...7614229712619/

Spectator access is a problem, as you mention. But, on the other hand. those shots are much more interesting than the typical track photographer. All the shots I have of me on a track are pretty dang boring. :( Nice job so far!

The 70-200/2.8 would be a great lens to buy, and the Mode 2 image stabilizer helps with those pans too. Or a 300/4.
