Hey guys, havnt been on in a while. School and life have been kicking my butt. Here are a few I shot of my friends dads R8 a few weeks ago. It wasnt planned, just happened to have my equipment and we had the time so I wanted to snap a few. We were in a parking lot, so I used the clone tool to get rid of a few of the visible lights in the parking lot, but you can still pick up on the reflections on the car. I still have more PS to learn till I can figure out how to do that.

Equipment used is as follows.
Canon XTi
Canon 70-200 F4L
(2) Alien Bee's 1600's
10ft stand
4ft stand

I am still new to my lights, but im trying to learn how to use them just by going out and doing it. I would like to pick up another strobe or two and some soft boxes, and I really need to get another 10 foot stand. But im using what I have for now. Any input or criticism is appreciated.

parking lines are blah... lighting is very uneven on the upper third of the car, but you already mentioned you want taller light stands.

other than that, keep playing and learning

Photos 4 and 5 really move me. But I think you could do better with the lighting on the lettering on image 5.
