Good thing I didn't buy a MKIII. It looks like the shutter doesn't go above 1/80 sec. <grin>

I'd say #1 is my favorite although 4 looks good, I just wish it was a tad more in focus.

Funny thing you mention focus, I just did the new firmware 1.2.5 and that is when I noticed the focusing and gone from sweet to sour. I guess there is a hardware adjustment they need to make with the new firmware. So off to canon irvine it goes for the fix.

Funny, I was just thinking the opposite. I like #4 the best of these. The fender and headlight (drivers right) appear sharp to me. I think a stop or two faster would have brought the rest of the front in focus. But, I do like the motion in the background that you got with this SS. I think #1 would be better if it was sharper.

Still working on my sub 40th shutter shots. Panning at 15th on a UWA in tricky.

Nice sequence! Number 3 is my fav, but wish I could see more of the lead car. Those background cars motion blurring in that manner is awesome! Great capture and timing. For number 4, with the car coming mostly at you, not sure the slow shutter does much to benefit. Open up the aperture instead for less DOF and crisper car.

Thanks Bill, #4 was the fast straight coming out of the little S turn. That's where they were hitting there top speeds, maybe a faster shutter would of been a good idea. Should of shot that over 100 shutter I guess. I will keep that in mind next time.
