Did a photoshoot for a friend's car on the long weekend.

C&C greatly appreciated on the following.

Feels good shooting cars again after working in the studio all winter.

1,2, 4 and 5 look really good. I'm not sure about 6. It leaves me wanting something since I know there's a windshield there and I can't see it.

I think 1 is the strongest. I like how the lighting hits the driver's side and the right front.

Thanks for your input Steve.

#3 just pretty ho-hum? or not anything unique.

I like 5 the best. The rest seem to be fairly heavy in contrast and really high at the black point. Is there a monitor issue, maybe? These look a bit darker than "moody."

Telephone pole and road sign. :)

If you were shooting this for your buddy, it could have been cool to tilt the rearview to see his eyes in the shot.

Curious about #1: Steering wheel cocked left, wheels cocked right? I like the feel, but the roll bars and seat back are the brightest feature, not things you necessarily want to highlight, that probably needed a softer light, higher up. Windows up on a convertible is odd.

The engine detail is cool, but the surround of that plate needed some detailing or polishing, the smudges are distracting.

#5 wants to inch forward into the light a little more. Too much detail of the ground, not enough of the car, although I see what you were going for. Use snoots to pop out some details there.

Let's see some overalls and rear shots, too.
