Hi,

I've just been invited to this forum. I joined the 24h Belcar race of Zolder (Belgium) last saturday and took some shots. Hope you like 'em.

Winfried, good to see you here at APN!! You will find a great group of people here who share your passion and also a select group who will give critical critique and help you grow.

I love the color of this image. Decent pan technique as well. Personally I might choose a different crop, but I am not sure what is in the rest of the image. Looks like you might have been stuck in the stands (infield?).

Good first post! Lets see some more!

Post a few of your favorite shots here (about 10 or so is good) for us to check out and if you want some feedback let us know. Its just easier to view them here than to go through flikr galleries...I hate that site.

Welcome to the site.

Welcome to the forum.

I looked through the gallery you linked to.

The images appear technically sound, though the shots appear to be taken from the public areas or seating. They are a bit high... shooting down. So, while one of this angle would be interesting, seeing them all that way is not.

I would say variety would make the gallery more interesting... and different angles would show more of the car... and it's attitude.

Hey- thanks to all of you for the comments and for your oppinions - I appreciated them very much!

@Tiny: The image is not cropped (at least not via software). I uploaded it as-is. But I agree with you. The "Rule of 3rd" would work a bit better here.

@Jim: Thanks - I'll do :)

@John: Yep, you are right. Sadly I was too late, to get an acquisition for the race, so I had to take them from the public areas. I have also some shots from a lower point - at a baffle. I'll upload 'em as soon as I winnowed them. Thanks for your critique!
