We went up to RA for the Mitty Challenge on Sunday and had a great time. Despite having a brand new 8G card toast out on me, I think I came back with a few good pieces. I could not get them all culled last night (Also had a raid drive fail) but here are some of my favorites. The others are in my gallery. www.dperceptions.com/gallery and then pick The Mitty 2009. Thanks!

Thanks! I thought it had a decent flow to it. I always liked the Z cars as well. Up until the 300 that is.

So I was trying to work on my very low shutter panning here. Any thoughts?

I like the wide angle shots, but I think the composition of the car in the shot needs to be moved around, very in the center and I wonder how the comp looks if the car was moved off center and to the left or so...

Just a thought...

The only one that looks like a very low panning shutter speed is the first one, and I would think it looks good, but I also think the car is too close to the edge of the frame...

Yea, I have been fighting center framing. thanks for the words! I appreciate them.

Seven is my favorite. But all are very nice.

Thanks! I have a slightly different version of that one, but I liked the way I could see the driver through the glass.

I think 7 stands out if the top could have been cropped a bit and a little more room in front of the car.

Nice set of shots.

Nice set of shots.

If I survive this weekend(too much shooting to do), I will switch out #7 with a different version for comparison.

EDIT: Just realized that #7 is what people were commenting on, and I was looking at #8 instead. Back to kindergarten to learn my numbers....

I changed up #8. I think it is stronger this way. Comments?
