Nate:

I like #1, though I would have preferred the ornament not to have been cropped at the bottom. I like the overall feel, color and direction.

#2 is very nice and very fitting.... it doesn't look "staged."

#3 I like the feel and recognize the opportunity from last year. I haven't looked at last year's to compare, but I don't get that same "haunting" feel ... this one is a bit too centered and with a lot more shadow around the car. It is nice, though.

The Lalique radiator cap is a nice idea... but I think the crop seems to leave the cap disjointed from the car... it's maybe too much about the backlighting... we lose the rest of the photo.

Nice girl.

I like the geometry of the last shot... I'd like to see the color and chrome POP out A LOT more.

Nice stuff as always... and my criticisms are given based on what I know about your own expectations of yourself. Keep up the good work.

My memory serves me well. :) I went and looked at the Corvete shot from last year.

It appears you may have shot this one a bit earlier? The shadows look longer.... and last year's looks looser and the car is back and lower in the frame.

This is a nice shot to be sure... but to be honest, last year's is a great shot. I think the two of them side by side make a great study in how those subtle differences push a nice shot to the level of a great shot.

Again, don't get me wrong... this really nice. But last year you blew me away with that Vette.

Ok... now you've posted them side by side, I like this years too.... but for different reasons. This year's as a different look... more aged. It's got a great mood.

They're both very good.

WOW! Spectacular mood in these. I love the background in the first shot. The third shot is great too... just perfect light! The last shot is just awesome... I love the symmetry! Really great stuff!

I like them a lot, especially number 2 and 3. Great work isolating the cars and getting something much better than the usual "lots of cars parked on grass" shots. Now I'm even more sorry I missed Meadowbrook this year.

That last shot is OUTSTANDING! I could see that framed and on somebody's wall. I like 1 alot, but wish it wasn't cropped so much. Great stuff!
