View Full Version : Gaffer tape and hood suggestions

is there a place online that sells good gaffer tape? ive been using black duct tape for the longest and want to re wrap some stuff.

also is there anything that fits over a 300mm 2.8L IS or 400 with the hoods on? i dont take the hoods off and would really like a little cloth cover to go over the end.

any suggestions?

You can get it from Adorama and B&H as well.

just make sure to get Permacel or Pro-Gaff. The other stuff is crap.

awesome thanks guys. any suggestions on the lens cover or hood...for over the hood? haha

There's a set of bowls with lids from Ikea that the lids from the bowls fit over the 300/2.8 hood as well as some of Canon's other lenses.

It was discussed on Fred Miranda a few months back...do some googling and I'm sure you can find it.
