I went on a pilgrimage to Brands for the biblical Can-Am cars, unfortunately there were 2 serious accidents in as many laps, so I hardly got to see them in anger!
Anyway, I am pleased with the set of photographs, though they may not be to all tastes, they are to mine. I just wish I could be in more than one place at a time, with the paddock being the most interesting part to me these days, skulking around with the 50 being my favourite pursuit. Brands Hatch is unmatched in terms of spectator views too, I was able to access what you see with just a standard ticket, perhaps one day I will be on the other side of the garages!
I had planned to meet with a driver in the Historic Formula Fords, however he decimated the gearbox in practice by shifting to 2nd as opposed 4th. Shame really, I was looking forward to concentrating on a specific story over the weekend.
Strong C&C would be appreciated, I realise I don't often post here, but I do try to read a lot! If it's important, I used a Canon 1D2, 16-35, 50 1.4 my lovely old 80-200L

4. I loved taking this, it took ages for a single red car to be in place. Those with 100-400's stood behind me mystified. Anyone got the reference?
