Where is Will? These are great! Maybe move #7 a little off-center, but love the shots.

Chris,

Got the shutter fixed? I see you got it up to 1/200. :)

#3 is a personal favorite. Nice shot of Gil de Ferran

i'm not sure if 2 or 5 is my fav, 5 might be showing to much foreground.

Chris:

It was good to meet you on Sat in the limited time was had to speak.

Excellent series of shots "out of the hole" as JT likes to say.

I personally like the foreground of 5, it gives a sense of track direction.

Great capture on 8. Couldn't ask for a better car placement with the open cockpit Acura in front of the closed Lola.

Now you have a little work to do updating your shooting guide.

I'm coming, I'm coming. I just got back from my first Mid-Ohio trip and I'm editing photos now (tough to do when you're in tent camping all weekend 500 miles from home :p )

Awesome set Chris, I haven't been to Mid-O before this weekend and these seem to be from some really well thought-out angles.

P.S. is 5 taken from outside the carousel with the car exiting the last turn? Like Chris K. said nice thinking outside the hole.

Thanks Guys!

Steve: Good talking to you again!

CK: Nice to finally meet you!

Will: Yep, #5 is from outside the carousel, as they enter the front straight.

Thanks again!

Great grabs Chris! How exactly did I not end up buying you a beer? Oh yes, no twitter or a way to connect to it. Damn Russians. :D

I really dig #7

Nice work Chris!

The di Ferran portrait tells such a story as is was such an emotional weekend for him and his team. Very nice!

Nice collection of going away shots; love the #3 BMW. Is that turn #9? Also really like the going away Ford GT. Really shows the 500mm reach.

The #8 speed shot is one of my Mid-Ohio favorites; shows what racing is all about - SPEED!

BMWs (OK, and Mustangs) are my favorites. Love the super clean shot in #8.

See you at NASA this weekend?
