Here are the highlights from my on-track photos from the Historics this year. I had a really great time and really like what I came back with.

I flat out love everything about 7. Great angle, lighting, panning, sharpness. Wow!

Really nice job Aaron (both on- and off-track). You captured a couple of nice twists to some commonly shot sections of track.
I was out of practice and somewhat uninspired this year and came up far short of your nice work.

Thanks guys! Number 7 was my big "find" for the weekend. I've been up and down that whole area tons of times, both for big events and private track days where I have the run of the place, and never saw that angle before. Finding that angle and exploring it was one of my highlights of the weekend. Pretty sad that I get off from finding a new angle for myself, but I love it. :)

Man you nailed it. I thought #2 was going to be my favorite, and then like everyone else I got to #7 and forgot all about #2... awesome job. I keep trying to get my dad to fly out from NJ for this event, but your range of coverage was a pretty good substitute (at least for now)

You made some great images, very different from the standard shots done at Laguna Seca

I agree with the others; #7 is the shot! Nice. I like #2 as well...the brilliant red 935 against a relatively colorless background...though, I'd like it a lot better if the light worked more to your advantage.

Thanks again guys!
Yeah Bob, I'd like to go back to that spot when there is better lighting and maybe a larger group of cars. I was actually up there grabbing lunch with my Dad, had only a 28mm prime with me, and took that shot as more of an afterthought I'll be up there for the ALMS races, so I'll take another stab at it. :)
