OK fellow APNers; after months of lurking, learning, feasting on inspiration, I've been out and about and finally got some work to show you. Don't hold back. Rip em apart. I value your opinions and it's the only way to learn... Here goes:

Your black and whites and interiors I find are very pleasing images although there are a few hotspots.

I think 1 and 3 are the weakest in the set, I think it's the composition, i.e. background on 1 and position in relation to the wheel on 3. Number 2 also appears a little too dark to me. Overall it's a nice and interesting set.

I have to comment on the brilliantly imaginative use of the copyright logo though. Fantastic stuff, I only wonder if the reason for the copyright symbol is lost somewhere in the translation. It made me smile though well done. :)

Thanks for the comments guys. I know what you mean Rob. I wasn't happy with number 1 myself. I've replaced it with a different approach - is this any better?

Is that a post blur or tilt lens in photos 1, 5, and 6?

its Alienskin's Bokeh. I wanted to give a minaturising effect. It's my first crack at this technique so has been something of a learning curve.

Way way better. You've got some really nice and interesting stuff going on here, I'm liking your style.

I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.:)

I'm with the rest David, very full and pleasing images. Love the black and whites. The only one I'm not in love with is #6. The artificial bokeh combined with the mild motion blur at the back of the car seems to muddy the image a bit. If the car had been dead tack-sharp it might have worked better.

(Aperture users: I was looking at #6 and was trying to evaluate the focus on the car. For a second I couldn't figure out why the loupe wasn't appearing when I hit the '~' key. Admit it, you've done it too!)

It's true, I'm still trying to get this panning technique down. :o
