Here are shots I was able to capture from saturday. I only shot one day. Tried to find different locations to capture from. I think I improved over last years shot. I finally got a chance to meet J.T., thanks to Aaron K for getting me into the media center for a quick introduction, great meeting you John. Enough with the small talk onto the images!

8. The end. I did my best to remove those damn power lines, when will MRLS learn that power lines and towers are not good for the photographs?

Great shots. #'s 2,3, and 5 are my favorites. 1 and 2 look like screen grabs from a video game.

Thanks Mike. Screen grabs huh? But I assure you they were taken in real life. :p I tightened down the aperture to get the flare off the headlights.

Wow great shots. big fan of #1. #7 is cool and a tough shot to pan as the cars come shooting out under the bridge, I bet there was a few misses (I know I'd have a few).

Thanks Nick, tough indeed, most of my shots were with the cars in the shaded area and not between the shade and the bridge, but I managed to pull off a few.

Is #6 between turns 5 and 6? I like it. I really like the fireworks shot too. Good job.

Good meeting you, BTW.

I'm guessing front straight, just before one at the crest of the hill.

My money is on the exit of T5 :) I recognize the mark on the wall (behind the car in my image; above the car in Sevan's image).

Thanks John, #6 was actually taken from the outside of the track right after the start finish heading into turn one, I shot it with the 500mm f4 right before the cross over bridge. As for the firework shot, I say a similar shot hanging up in the media center and thought I would give it a shot.

Yeah, a nice collection Sevan. I like number 2 the most, and it looks like you got that fireworks shot pretty good. I might have let in more light so the bridge, track and background would be a bit brighter though.

Good to see you this weekend. I'm heading to ACS soon and might do a track day at Streets of Willow so I'll let you know in case you want to come along and shoot.

Thanks Aaron. I have another shot of the fireworks but closer that the Mazda sign on the bridge it lighter. I will post tonight. Keep in touch on the ACS and willow trip.

Here you go Aaron, went back into lightroom and used the adjustment brush and lightened up the background and turned the cross walk signed into to neon sign, lol.

Here is one more with the sign lightened up a bit more.

Nice set Sevan. I really like the location of your second shot. It is gives a nice look with the 500, even more so with the 1.4x. It give a really nice compression with a line of cars.
